Mrs Stella Nse Okuzu is the Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Africa Society, London; one of the United Kingdom's oldest and most respected institutions dedicated to promoting understanding, partnership, and collaboration between Africa and the UK. A distinguished banker, financial strategist, academic, and international development leader, she brings over two decades of executive experience spanning banking, finance, business consultancy, leadership development, and Africa–UK relations.
Prior to leading the Royal Africa Society, Mrs Okuzu founded EDD Finance & Consulting Limited, where she advised businesses, governments, and investors on market entry, capital mobilisation, and cross-border investments across Africa, Europe, and the United Kingdom. She previously served as the pioneering Head of Personal & Business Banking at FCMB Bank (UK) Ltd and has held several board-level appointments, contributing significantly to financial inclusion, governance, risk management, and sustainable economic development.
An accomplished scholar and thought leader, Mrs Okuzu has also lectured in Global Strategy and Sustainability at BPP University, London, while actively mentoring emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. Widely recognised for her outstanding leadership, she is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and has received numerous international accolades for her contributions to business, finance, leadership, and Africa's global development agenda. Through her work, she continues to champion stronger partnerships between Africa and the international community, advancing sustainable development, investment, innovation, and inclusive economic growth.
